Stroll through thousand-year-old ruins and discover the historic capitals of Morocco. visit the imposing monuments of Fez, then dive into the flourishing life of the medieval medina. Relax in the hustle and bustle of Jemaa el Fna Square, enter the royal palaces and pass through ancient tombs and picturesque gardens. End your trip to Casablanca, where historic souks on modern streets and well-used cannons still line the eroded dike.

PROGRAM DETAILS :

DAY 1 : CASABLANCA

Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel, but before visiting the Hassan II mosque (the largest mosque in Morocco and one of the largest in the world). overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 2 : CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – FEZ

Breakfast and departure for Rabat, you will visit the Kasbah Oudaïas, Hassan tower and the mausoleum of Mohamed V. Then you will continue your trip to Meknes. Third imperial city with its famous door, you will explore Bab El Mansour (one of the most beautiful doors) and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Lunch in Meknes. And then you will discover the Roman ruins of Volubilis and finally you will go to Fez.

DAY 3 : FEZ

After breakfast, take a guided tour of the city for a full day with an English-speaking guide to explore the royal city; you will begin your visit with the old medina with its ramparts and narrow streets, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, as well as the ruins of the Mérinides tombs. You will also visit the madrasas Bouanania and Attarine built at the beginning of the 14th century, the Karaouine mosque and the Nejjarine marble fountain. Then, lunch break in a typical Moroccan restaurant. In the afternoon, you will explore the decorated door of Boujloud and the royal palace, then the souk where the craftsmen sell their handmade jewels, their leather goods, their copper objects and their pottery.

DAY 4 : FEZ - IFRANE - AZROU - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA

At 8 am, we will pick you up at the hotel and drive to Merzouga crossing the Middle Atlas, a 350-kilometer mountain range from south-west to north-west. On the way, we will cross cities like Ifrane, nicknamed the “Moroccan Switzerland” for the architecture of their houses, and Azrou, one of the most famous Berber cities of Morocco. We will cross the valley and the gorges of Ziz and cross cities like Midelt or Erfoud. From Erfoud, we will take a desert track to Merzouga. We will spend the night in a hotel next to the desert entrance.

DAY 5 : ENJOYING THE MERZOUGA DESERT.

On the second day, we will devote to enjoying the most spectacular part of the Eastern Sahara. We will enter the desert in 4X4, visit nomadic villages, see oases and cross the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After the road, we will visit the famous village of Khamlia where are the gnawa. The descendants of the slaves arrived from Africa and we will appreciate their amazing folk music. At dusk, we will return to the hotel to take the camels that will take us to the Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where we will dine and spend the night.

DAY 6 : MERZOUGA – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGE

Wake up early to watch the sunrise and afterwards by camel back to the dunes. After breakfast and a shower, we drive to Erfoud to visit the factory of fossilized marble before continuing on to the palm of Touroug and Tinjdad. Todra Gorge will be our stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Dades Gorge via Boumalne. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 : GORGES DU DADES – KELAAM’GOUNA – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we return to the Dades Valley and take the road to Boutaghrar where all the colours of nature meet each other. Our way is the route of a thousand kasbahs, here the road travels through the kasbahs and ksours, the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove. There is an option to visit the Kasbah Amredhyle. We will also visit Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, UNESCO heritage site and on to spend the night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.

DAY 8 : MARRAKECH GUIDED CITY TOUR

Sightseeing tour of exotic Marrakesh. Do the city’s architectural attractions: the delicate Granada-style carving of the Saadian Tombs, the magnificient Bahia Palace, the famous medersa Ben Youssef and above all, the Koutoubia Minaret, the most typical feature of Islamic architecture…Lunch at ksar el Hamra ,after that visit Majorelle Garden at the end of the day, visit the famous square, Djemaa El Fna (A real stage for a long-established ritual in which shifting circles of onlookers gather round groups of acrobats, drummers, pipe musicians, dancers, storytellers, comedians and fairground acts ). Diner at leisure & overnight at the Hotel

DAY 9 : MARRAKECH

Free day at leisure. Diner at leisure & overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 10 : MARRAKECH

Transfer to the airport.
